I was the Lead UX Designer and Web Designer throughout the project cycle from requirements gathering to strategy, wireframing, prototype designing, and website development. I also collaborated with key stakeholders to brainstorm ideas and problem-solve.
1. Empathize
User Interviews: I began by conducting in-depth interviews with the leadership and staff at Clever Cow Media to understand their goals, aspirations, and the challenges they faced. I also interviewed their current and potential clients to gain insights into their needs and expectations.
2. Define
The insights from the user interviews allowed me to identify that Clever Cow Media needs to establish a more compelling brand identity and optimize its client acquisition process to attract and retain a diverse client base effectively.
3. Ideate
Utilizing the information from the stakeholder interviews, I generated creative solutions to address the defined problem. These ideas included refreshing the company's visual identity, optimizing its website for user experience, and developing client success stories.
4. Prototype
I created low-fidelity prototypes for the redesigned website, visual identity, and marketing collateral. These prototypes were shared with Clever Cow Media for feedback. Based on their input, I refined the prototypes and developed high-fidelity mock-ups.
5. Test
The prototypes were tested with Clever Cow Media's clients, potential clients, and staff. Their feedback was invaluable in making iterative improvements. I also monitored the performance of marketing campaigns and collected data on user engagement with the new website.
6. Implement
With the addition of feedback from users during usability testing, I was able to update the design of the website and publish a show-stopping platform that Clever Cow Media can utilize to acquire new clients and illustrate the success of their services.
By applying the design thinking process, Clever Cow Media successfully redefined its brand identity and improved its client acquisition process. The revamped online presence, coupled with targeted marketing efforts, led to increased engagement and conversions.
